About Precious Lives

Precious Lives was established with a sole of purpose of improving the lives of children from disadvantaged backgrounds across London Borough of Hackney and surrounding Boroughs ….

Our Story

Why We Started

Precious Lives was born from a simple but powerful need: to help individuals and families create spaces where they can engage in meaningful activities together and rebuild family ties. We believe in encouraging parents, grandparents, and children to discover the joy of being a family and doing things together.

Everyone can make a positive contribution to the family unit. Through our programmes, we’ve seen how bringing families together improves skills and strengthens bonds for both children and adults.

Founded in 2010 and registered with the Charity Commission (Charity No. 1143656), Precious Lives has grown from a vision into a vital community resource serving thousands across London.

Our Mission

To promote the benefit of inhabitants across London by:

  • Advancing education and training
  • Relieving poverty, sickness, and distress
  • Promoting good health
  • Providing recreational facilities to improve conditions of life

Our Vision

A London where every family, regardless of background or circumstances, has access to the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.

We envision communities where people are empowered, families are strong, and no one is left behind.
